One of my favourite authors, Jason Nahrung, recently posted a free short story set in his “outback vampire” universe. I’m a big fan of Jason’s writing, and so it was a great thrill to read some more work set in an imagined world that I’ve really enjoyed. Details can be found on Jason’s website<\/a>. If you enjoy the short story, you might want to try the two novels (Blood and Dust<\/em> and\u00a0The Big Smoke<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Are you still watching\u00a0Game of Thrones<\/em>? I recognise that there are many problematic elements of the story, depiction of women etc but I must admit that I still find it compelling viewing. The storylines do feel like they are starting to come together, I’ll be interested to see how many seasons there are left.<\/p>\n
